Of course sometimes flowers for valentine's day just isn't enough! What about some jewelry? Why get her the same old tired flowers and candy? Really I am a woman and I can tell you that I want something more for Valentine's Day! Get me a gold necklace with a photo of our kids on it or how about flowers and a powertool? Yes, I love powertools and I would take note that my husband actually thought out the gift instead of running to the grocery store at the last minute, buying me a bouquet of roses and a box of candy. Most of that chocolate candy plain old sucks anyways. If you must give candy, I will provide you with links here to gourmet candies and candy that will actually get eaten instead of end up with finger holes in all of them :) Suprise her this year for once and get her something unique. If it must be roses and candy then fine I'll show you the best choices. I think you should always give red roses if she is used to getting them. I'm used to my red roses on Valentine's day and If I don't get them every year I think I would cry. But how about adding a surprise gift with those roses? After all hasn't she loved you unconditionally and doesn't she make you happy? Well I think she deserves more on Valentine's Day. Oh and about the teddy bears, you know those $10 novelty teddy bears that you find at walmart? Unless it's a tradition and she collects them, nix that idea. Get a BETTER teddybear with a message! Giving her one of these teddy bears will melt her instantly!! I'll show you where, just waiting for a reply on if it's okay to add their link to this site. Hubby got me one for Valentine's Day last year and I must say it's my most prized possession :)
